Addresses health care policy in the United States from both theoretical (political, economic as well as public policy) and substantive perspectives at the state, national and comparative-international levels. Further, the examination of health care policy takes place in the context of social welfare policy more broadly considered. Prerequisite: POL 10100 or POL 10300.
